CLFHA UMPIRING POLICIES/GUIDELINES |

|
|
|
|
|
|
*** TEAMS must have a MINIMUM of 3 OUTDOOR-CERTIFIED umpires, for the corresponding level of play, on their
rosters by end of season. |
|
Fine is $100.00 per 'missing' rated umpire. If there are no certified umpires on your team, your team may
possibly not be eligible to play the next outdoor season. |
|
*** Teams scheduled to umpire must have a minimum of 1 CERTIFIED UMPIRE on the pitch (for that level of play). |
|
|
|
The other umpire, at a minimum, should have certification pending (i.e. attended umpiring certification clinic
and working on certification). |
|
Teams scheduled to umpire and do not show or schedule replacement(s) will be fined $15.00 / missing umpire
for the first incident. |
|
Points (equivalent to a 'win') will also be deducted from the team for that day if neither umpire shows from
the team scheduled to umpire. |
|
For a second or a subsequent incident, a CLFHA committee will hold a special meeting to discuss additional
fines and consequences. |
|
